Luxe Bistro

One of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten, and I am fairly particular. It was $20, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The smoothies are a good non-alcohol drink. $8, but so much better than the usual non-alcohol options. The Caesar Salad was good too, but a different flavor than I am accustomed to.

Great location right in the market! Although the hashbrowns were not great - they were diner style when this is a classy place. Should be more like potatoes instead of grated. And when I asked for extra fruit instead of bea s they gave me an extra slice of pineapple...

Great steakhouse in the heart of the market. The food was great, and the service was seamless. I only wish that there was a little more room to spread out. I felt as if we were rubbing elbows with the other tables.

Second time dining at Luxe in the last 2 weeks. Very pleasantly surprised by the food, it has been outstanding!

Visited Luxe on a Saturday night with my boyfriend. Interior was well decorated, and seemed cozy. We were sat immediately which was a great start. But service moving forward was a little slow. I ordered the bouillabaisse and my boyfriend ordered a pulled pork & jalapeño mac and cheese, with fried chicken (daily special). Meal was good but I think it was overpriced for the quality. My meal was lacking flavour and I don’t think I would pay $40 for it.I saw a lot of people ordered burgers around us and there’s a lot of good reviews on here. I would definitely give it another try! The atmosphere was nice for a little romantic dinner date.

Service for lunch was slow despite it not being busy. Coffee was watered down and food was just so so.

We have been here 5 times now, and have NEVER had a bad meal. Tom has been a long time server there and he is the BEST! Always friendly, great conversation with guests. Highly recommend.

Me and hubby went here on a date, OMG the food is so good. Can't recommend this place enough! The staff is friendly, the drinks are awesome, and the food is so tasty. Can't wait to go back and try more things on this menu. A must try place, you won't be disappointed!

Good atmosphere, excellent service and food.

Loved this restaurant, the staff were great and the food was delicious. Wheelchair accessible - they have a fold up ramp they can set up so call or have someone go in and ask.

Came here for lunch and got the 14oz boneless rib steak with Mac and cheese. The steak was done perfectly rare and was so good. The mac and cheese could have used a bit more sauce, but it was still good. The service was good as well.

Went for lunch mid-afternoon. Both the host and the server were lovely about my wheat sensitivity, and the server even double checked ingredients with the kitchen when I asked about a specific item.The food was amazing and the patio was super comfortable.

I really love steak tartare and the new version on the menu is great and the presentation is also very good. Not everyone likes steak tatare but it's great. The service is always great and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. One of the few places in town where I can get Butternut Chardonnay. Thanks

I recently celebrated my 60th birthday at the Luxe Loft. The service and the food was spectacular. It was cocktail style which was perfect for my guests. I hired a DJ and he had my guests dancing all night long. The Bar staff were great. Anything I asked for they were right there with it. I highly recommend the Luxe Bistro for your next party affair. Or for any dinner or lunch, my favourite restaurant in the market by far.

What a great place. I was by myself for the Canadian Thanksgiving and wanted to treat myself. I had an amazing steak and glass of red. Steak was well prepared, and my side of brocolini had a touch of a really good sauce with some heat. I'd like to go back when friends visit.

My favourite restaurant in Ottawa, fine dining at a decent price. The fries are to die for and all of their dishes are amazing. Service has also always been friendly every time I've been. Would highly recommend 10/10

This was my third time to this place, i love the steak there. Its the perfect place for a date in my opinion. Although one time i was a bit disappointed with the steak but the other two times it was just perfect, the double chocolate is a must have ! Loved the ambiance in general, I recommend it for sure 👍 enjoy

The steak frites was very good. The cocktail (Sazerac) and recommended wine with dinner were both good, but a bit pricey. A bit difficult to enjoy as a group cause of the loudness of the place, but it was a Friday night so that's understandable. Would be a good choice for a pair or couple.

Food, decoration, staff are amazing. I totally recommend it for tourists and visitors.

Lobster poutine was nothing special, so many other options worth trying, like the calamari. Coworker commented his ribeye steak was also just OK. The scallops and sweet potato risotto was excellent. Have a few local beers of draft including a couple from Beyond the Pale.

Had a very nice Stroganoff. The price is maybe a little bit higher, but reasonable. The service is good and the athmosphere is nice.

Simply wonderful, food was exactly what I was looking for. Eggs Benedict simply the best I've had in long time. Service was excellent, friendly and timely. Atmosphere warm and inviting. Great view of the busy byward market crowd.

the place is very nice, the portions are big, we had a lobster poutine (Best poutine I've tried yet) and some burgers that I had to bring them home since we were full just with the poutine. the environment is quiet and nice

we had steak . The steak is cooked according to order. The side was also good. we had crispy squid and it was also cooked perfectly. We were there on a Monday evening and it was not busy. surely will recommend to try if you like steak.

Wow wow wow, if I wanna remember one thing from Ottawa, I would say Brunch in Luxe restaurant. They are professional in every aspects. I had the best Bloody caesar of my life in here and their food was great, delicious and fresh. I really miss this place and hope to see you soon

Good Ambiance, above average food options, cooked average, and average (to below average) service and vibe. I either had to rate this a cruel 3 star or a generous 4 star. The ambiance is owed to the fact that it's located in a very strategic corner and with great patio. Their food option is exciting and won't disappoint. But once brought to you, it wasn't as great as it was named. For the service and vibe, they do not attempt to impress at all. Just trying to get their work done.
